Meet Zoe Skowronski, LCSW
Hey there, my name is Zoe. I’m SW #22535! I graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2019 and went on to complete my Master of Social Work in 2021, both at the University of South Florida.
My journey includes working closely with domestic violence survivors at a local shelter, helping them navigate the complexities of the court system. During my time as a master’s level intern, I gained experience in both the inpatient adult unit and intensive outpatient program for adolescents, which fueled my passion for specializing in trauma, borderline personality disorder, and eating disorders.
I have completed basic training in an EMDRIA-approved EMDR program, meaning I meet the standard to provide EMDR services. I also enjoy using CBT, DBT, and mindfulness in sessions with patients. But most of all, I know the struggles of meeting with a therapist who is just not the right fit even if they have all of the right letters behind their name. If you don’t feel comfortable it won’t help. Therefore, it’s a huge deal to me that you feel understood and supported in sessions!
I aim to use treatments that work in a way that works for you.
