Meet Your Therapist ๐Ÿ’™

Zoe Skowronski, LCSW, EMDRIA-Approved, Evergreen C-DBT Certified

๐Ÿ“ Licensed in Florida โ€“ SW22535
๐Ÿ“… Offering Virtual Therapy for Women Across Florida

I work with teens and women who feel like they’re constantly carrying too muchโ€”too many emotions, too many expectations, too much pressure to keep it all together. Maybe youโ€™re tired of feeling like youโ€™re not enough, stuck in the same relationship patterns, or fighting battles with food, shame, or self-doubt that no one else can see. Therapy with me is a place to lay some of that down. Together, weโ€™ll make sense of what youโ€™re feeling, break the patterns that keep hurting you, and build the kind of stability, connection, and self-trust youโ€™ve been craving.

Why Work With Me? ๐ŸŒฟ

โœ” Specialized Training โ€“ Iโ€™m certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an Evergreen Certified C-DBT provider, and EMDRIA-approved to provide EMDR therapy. I have completed EMDR basic training and am actively pursuing advanced consultation toward full EMDR certification. I am also currently training in Radically Open DBT (RO-DBT) to expand my work with clients who struggle with overcontrol and perfectionism.
โœ” Extensive Experience โ€“ Before private practice, I worked in intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) settings, helping individuals face some of the most difficult struggles of their lives. This experience shaped my direct yet compassionate therapy approach.
โœ” Therapy That Feels Natural โ€“ Our sessions wonโ€™t feel like a scriptโ€”theyโ€™ll feel like a conversation where you feel seen, heard, and supported while gaining the skills to regain control of your emotions and life.

Meet Bryn, ESA

Meet Brynย โ€“ the tiny but mighty emotional support pup of Therapy by the Bay. Bryn is a 4-year-old, 5-pound Chihuahua known for his energetic presence and feisty spirit. Most patients enjoy seeing him pop up on my lap or catching a glimpse of him scurrying behind me on the couch. He brings a warm, comforting energy to sessionsโ€”offering quiet support that helps therapy feel a little more grounded, and a little less lonely.

๐Ÿถ Accepted Insurances: Snacks (unlimited coverage, no co-pay required), belly rubs (mandatory for optimal tail wagging), and long walks (fully covered, especially if squirrels are involved). Out-of-network benefits may include surprise zoomies, excessive begging for your food, and pawing at your hands when attention levels drop below acceptable thresholds. ๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿ˜‚
